Thanks for the additional feedback @samuelgoto.
I understand your preferences here and I'll keep them in mind. I should point out that in many (but not all) cases the GitPitch menus get entirely out of the way when screen size is at a premium. For example:
- When viewing a presentation on a tablet or mobile device the menu is hidden by default.
- When viewing a presentation embedded in a blog or website the menu is hidden be default.
Oct 23, 2017. Gitpitch - Markdown Presentations For Everyone on GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, GitBucket, Gitea, and Gogs.
Only when viewing a presentation in a typical desktop browser is the menu shown be default. This is the current convention. Among other things it helps to reveal GitPitch features such as printing, offline support, Git providers, themes, table-of-contents. It reveals these things to presentation developers and audiences alike, who are as-yet unlikely to be as familiar with GitPitch as they are with Google Docs or Powerpoint. And as noted previously, currently this convention can not be overridden. Din next pro condensed font free download. Overriding this convention is on the feature list for some as-yet unannounced future release.
Management By Menu
In the meantime, regarding developer workflow, I have a very simple tip for you. Simply resize whatever browser window you are using to preview your presentation content to be less that 1024px wide. GitPitch will then render your presentation as if it was on a smaller device (tablet, mobile). So the menu will not be shown. And you will not need to press Esc
to close the menu before reviewing/navigating your presentation content.
